About the role
This is more than a support role; it's a launchpad for a career in financial planning. You'll work alongside Senior and Lead Planners, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while playing a meaningful part in delivering an exceptional experience to our members. This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in this area, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.
What you’ll do with us :
Shadow Senior and Lead Planners to build deep expertise in financial planning, investments, and tax strategy
Manage the Planning Team inbox, triaging member questions, routing complex inquiries to Senior Planners, and independently resolving straightforward requests with professionalism and care
Guide new members through the onboarding process, validating financial data and ensuring accuracy of client information
Conduct initial investment plan reviews, developing your analytical skills while supporting the broader planning team
Own outreach to inactive members to re-engage and maintain strong member relationships
What will set you apart:
Working toward or holding a CFP® designation
1+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a client services role
Strong organizational skills and clear, professional written communication
Comfort with financial services technology and an appetite to learn new tools
Enthusiasm for fintech and an interest in how technology is reshaping the future of wealth management
