About the Role

As a Home Advisor, you will remotely evaluate homes using HomeCloud’s proprietary digital platform. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze photos, videos, and data captured by our onsite team to assess home conditions and certify reports. If you're an expert on the different features and major systems found in and around a home (e.g., property inspector, appraiser, retired/ex-home inspector, licensed tradesperson such as an electrician/plumber/roofer/general contractor) and are adept at using technology, then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Certify Home Reports: Review & Evaluate home data to analyze the condition, including photos and videos, to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.Utilize HomeCloud’s web application to conduct remote property evaluations and provide detailed assessments.

• Build Processes: Create and improve processes and workflows for efficiency and scale.

• Quality Assurance: Identify potential defects or system malfunctions and flag any concerns for further review.

• Client Communication: Clearly articulate findings to homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals.

• Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with onsite inspectors and provide feedback to enhance HomeCloud’s platform and processes.

• Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless experience for clients by addressing questions and offering professional guidance.

Who You Are

You thrive in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment and have deep expertise in home systems. You’re meticulous, analytical, and comfortable using digital tools for home evaluations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in home systems – Ideal backgrounds include home inspection, appraisals, home services (electrician, plumber, HVAC, handyman), or general contracting.

• Strong computer proficiency and ability to adapt to new software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess home conditions accurately.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Preferred (but not required):

• Relevant certifications in home inspection, appraisal, or related trades.
